Underwater POT-114B dog water treadmill is a modern device intended for animal rehabilitation in veterinary practices, physiotherapy facilities and canine hydrotherapy centres. The treadmill enables movement therapy in water, allowing muscles and joints to be strengthened safely while reducing strain on the musculoskeletal system.
Water-treadmill hydrotherapy is one of the most effective methods of rehabilitating dogs after orthopaedic procedures, injuries and in degenerative joint disease.
The device features a training chamber with an area of 470 × 1,300 mm, providing comfortable therapy conditions for small- and medium-breed dogs.
How does a dog water treadmill work?
A water treadmill enables controlled movement training in water. Water reduces the load on joints by up to several dozen percent, allowing the animal to perform movements safely that would be too painful or difficult on land.
During therapy, the dog walks on the treadmill belt, while the water level and walking speed can be adapted to its condition and stage of rehabilitation.
